Given the need for behavioural research to inform responses to the pandemic, our PI Linda Bauld is now building on SPECTRUM's expertise in behavioural interventions to reduce non-communicable diseases and extending this to communicable diseases in the context of Covid-19.

She leads the behavioural science elements of a major University of Edinburgh and MRC funded programme on asymptomatic testing for SARS-Cov-2 infection. This is in collaboration with other colleagues in the College of Medicine, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.
