Consortium Director of SPECTRUM, Professor Linda Bauld, has been elected as Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences in recognition of her research aimed at addressing some of society’s most significant health challenges. Professor Bauld has guided policies with her behavioural studies, including life-saving smoke free legislation and standardised tobacco packaging. I am delighted to be elected as Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and look forward to collaborating with such a diverse and dynamic community of scientists and clinicians.
